An enriched pathway to success
In Secondary, CEM students embark on a comprehensive educational journey following the Spanish curriculum, incorporating the methodology of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) alongside other active methodologies.
CEM has acquired the status of a candidate school* for the MYP and aims to obtain authorization to become an IB World School. These schools share a common philosophy: a commitment to rigorous and high-quality international education that Colegio Europeo de Madrid considers essential for its students.
Through dynamic teaching methods and a commitment to personalized growth, our students navigate their path to academic excellence.
This includes our "Students Performance Analytics" tool, which monitors progress and enables classroom personalization. We also support students in preparing for official language exams as an official Cambridge preparation centre, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching educational experience.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status does not guarantee that the school will be granted authorization. For more information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org.
